About us
Our journey began 15 years ago when we both entered the wrong class on our first day of university. Little did we know that this accidental encounter would lead to a lifelong friendship. Fatima, an accounting graduate, has always had a knack for numbers, while Maitha's passion lies in the realm of creativity and design, as an architecture engineering graduate. We both believe in the power of positive thinking and manifestation.
The name
About Sashi
The name "Sashi" is a combination of our firstborns' names, Saif & Awashi. They have truly changed our lives and given us a new purpose and a different perspective. Every day, they inspire us and make us proud. We hope that we can also make them proud of us!

Why Sashi?
Sashi's idea was born out of a need. We consistently nagged about the lack of genuinely minimal, super comfortable, and affordable matching clothing for babies and moms. Eventually, we took a leap of faith, deciding to embark on this journey ourselves. Our goal was to create a brand with a powerful message for mothers and a commitment to giving back to the community through upcoming programs we are diligently working on.

With Sashi, our aim is to create a nurturing, secure, and informative platform for mothers, addressing essential topics related to motherhood. One such critical subject is postpartum depressionan often-neglected subject that society tends to shy away from, especially during the vulnerable period of new motherhood. Having experienced the challenges and the fog it can cast over a mother's life, we genuinely empathize. Through our upcoming programs, we aspire to offer support to new mamas, reassuring them that they are not alone in this journey.
